With the 90th overall pick (third round), the Seahawks selected Notre Dame RB C.J. Prosise. Prosise piled up 1,029 rushing yards last year and averaged 6.55 YPC. He also caught 26 balls for 308 yards. Prosise will get a chance to contribute in a backfield that includes Thomas Rawls and Christine Michael.

The Patriots select NC State QB Jacoby Brissett with the No. 91 selection late in the third round. The team needed a No. 3 QB, and with Tom Brady's four-game suspension, Brissett is likely to fill the void.

With the 94th overall pick (third round), the Seahawks selected Ohio State TE Nick Vannett. Vannett (6-foot-6, 257 pounds) had 19 catches for 162 yards last season. He is more in the mold of an all-around tight end than a prolific pass-catcher. While it'd be easy to wonder how this relates to Jimmy Graham's injury, the truth is the Vannett selection probably has more to do with the fact that Luke Willson is entering the final year of his contract.

Redskins coach Jay Gruden said they'll figure out later exactly how they will use Su'a Cravens. But Cravens said they told him he'd likely be used as a dime linebacker. Gruden called him "one of the best zone defenders."

No surprise, the Los Angeles Rams didn't move back into day 2 after trading away their second and third round picks to move up for QB Jared Goff at No. 1 overall. The Rams will get to pick again Saturday when they have two fourth-round choices and two sixth-round selections. Receiver, tight end and safety are among the positions the Rams will be looking for.
