I'm going to start a thread for record-keeping and to perhaps get some input from others. Here are some guidelines for the plays.
This will be an eight-game chase.
There will be some WNBA plays but mostly MLB, which is why I put the thread here.
The lines will be from one of the following books (listed in alphabetical order): BetDSI, Bookmaker, 5Dimes, Heritage.
Pinny is not listed because U.S. bettors do not have access (unless you know something I don't).
Expect one play per day, with a weekly average of 3-5 plays; some weeks may have more and some less.
I'll also do my best to post at least one hour prior to game time.
Most plays will be around -110 range, with some at plus money and a few at -120 to -140. As much as possible, I'll avoid laying too much juice.
Any serious questions or comments are ALWAYS welcome.
Thanks and let's where this journey takes us.
Just an update to the chase guidelines I posted at the beginning of this thread.
Although I'm keeping it to an eight-game chase, I hope it never goes beyond five straight losses. I left it at eight, however, to give myself a buffer against bad beats and black swan events.
Also, I'll do my best to keep the plays around the -110 level, with a few going -120 to -140.
The
one important change, as I stated on May 10, is that I may have more than one play per day. If that's the case, the earlier play MUST end first (or the outcome must be pretty obvious such as a total hitting or missing well before the game is over).
This means the second play may be posted with 30 minutes OR LESS before game time. In such cases, I'll always post a heads up and let people know what my second play might be (I've already been doing this, for those following this thread).
The trend I've noticed up to this point is that Bet 1 has been awful. Obviously, I want to reverse that trend and I've decided to factor in one more variable to my capping that hopefully will help the sides plays. Of course, we won't really know until the season winds down.
As always, any serious questions, comments, or critiques are ALWAYS welcome and encouraged.
I should have a play tomorrow.
