Update.
In post #1, I stated I am going to use lines from Bookmaker, BetDSI, 5Dimes, and Heritage.
Lately, I've grown more and more disappointed with how the books do their business. Yes, the U.S. laws have something to do with it. However, I suspect the books often use this as an excuse to pull dick moves.
Therefore, I've decided to try adding an exchange that specializes in bitcoin.
After talking with barnstorm in another thread, I signed up at Fairlay over the weekend.
I'm still waiting for a few more bitcoin payouts to transfer into my wallet. Once I've deposited a percentage of my winnings to Fairlay, I'll give it a try and see if it's a viable option to the more traditional books.
Of course, Fairlay could end up being disappointing as well but I'm going to take a calculated risk (hey, that's what we do, right?) and place some of my action there. I'll still diversify and keep funds and place action in the more traditional books.
The interesting thing about Fairlay, I've noticed, is that you can create your own lines. That's right - no typo. The thing is, you have to find another party who will take the opposite side - something which isn't realistic if you want silly lines for any given play. For example, you can create Dodgers at home with a healthy Kershaw starting at +110 but no one is going to take the opposite side.
So, if I mention Fairlay odds, it will be from already established lines in which there is enough action on both sides. You can easily verify this by going to the site and clicking on the sports section. Then, for example, select MLB and you'll see the lines right there - those are the lines I'm referring to.
