These are the plays today Jackson, based on the spreadsheet?

These are MY plays using the data I choose from what is available in the database. There are no official "THE PLAYS" in this thread. Everyone comes up with their own. Mine are in the early stages of experimentation so tread lightly or just watch and wait.

Pops would it be possible to add a sheet to the PDWS that would pick up all the stuff as the master would have it as in correct cells. Then for those that use the master like for 30 day calcs and stuff could simply copy that page and add to their own master and done. Might save you a lot of work in the long run.

prob is that pdws has many diff cells than the master and not in the same order as well. not really sure what you want other than what's already there that i upload with both files

this is what i meant by the extra number in the master you posted yesterday, clicking on the 1 gave you the game slated for yesterday in that category......... handicapped that section in 2 minutes.

What I am looking for is the same stuff you were adding to the master for todays gms. I got it all from the PDWS but takes like 3 or 4 pastes back in forth. My intent was on this extra sheet on the PDWS if it would reference those cells and put them in the right col such one could paste into the master in one fail swoop.

just what i though. it was caused by me doing a refresh all on the master b4 i uploaded it with only partial data for that days' games. i just wanted to get something up for jj without creating a bunch of extra work for myself. it should not happen again as dont plan to upload any partial masters in the future

yes, u just need to make sure your doing the correct cols from the pdws into the master and also make double sure that u do a paste special vs a copy past. if you do a straight copy paste high probability that you will get file cross linking problems as well. plus one other think is that you will get multiple error messages when you do a refresh all so that all the data than shows up in the pivot tables

b4 u do the refresh all after you copied the cols you wanted some cols from the previious day will need to be dragged down for those that do have forms in them. i try not to do all that many calc in the master as i dont want the size to become 100gb plus

try it you can fuck anything up. if you do just d/l another copy off my post

all these guys are waldos now? do you think the oddsmaker adjusts for all of them? Surely they do for H and E. I was surprised to get an 8 on R last night

i know they do for a fact because i know some of the people that make the numbers etc. but most bettors dont or even have a clue that the umps are a factor in that o/u number

not everyone one of those are all the time but they do look at their records etc and betting patterns for 1st and 2nd game of a series and make adjustments accordingly

click on the data tab at the top of the screen and click on refresh all. than you need to determine what actions to tell excel to do based on your error messages

1st few time takes a while but after than once you know the pattern it's a piece of cake. i can do all my data collection in about 5 min and the adding to the master and thread pdws in 25 min tops. much of that is double checking

WTF are the Celtics getting more points tonight than in game one? It makes zero sense. I think Celts win straight up.

6 is the same isnt it?

maybe cause it's the only game people are watching and what they last saw and heard from the talking heads is that this is the best the Lakers have looked all year
