yes. all of the waldo's are listed on the pdws i upload each morning and there positions from the night b4 as well

I've been giving this thread a look over and have downloaded a few of the Excel files. I would like to contribute in some form or fashion (assuming that's possible), but I am apparently too stupid to understand the terminology you guys are using.

It appears that you guys are following some sort of system based on these formulas. What is the system's overall record and how long has it been going? Has this been successful in the past? Would it be in my interests to blindly follow?

i'm not sure why u feel u need to do that as it will not change almost anything with respect to w/l patterns during that short of time from.

the updated master is here but right now i'm unable to delete anything that i put on the rx because of the new format they have. so i'm trying to keep the amount of files i put up to a min and not close down there servers as these get larger 7 gb plus per day adds up very fast, and these larger files are having a hard time uploading. but i'll take a shot for today

p.s. it took about 15 min for this to upload, and still not finished so not sure it it will even upload at this point.. i'll give it another 15 b4 i hit the submit button and see if all worked

I'm applying a formula that I have to drag down to apply to today's data. I don't understand the mechanics, but CTP has been guiding me. I'm sure he can answer your question better than I. Thanks for posting it today.

like in the book wtf is waldo. i refer to all of my key ov/un umps (the ones listed on the pdws every day) as waldo. so you just need to find wtf they are at for the 1st or 2nd game of a series

OY and FA are just that day's listed pitchers that either have an OY (option year) or are a Free Agent after this year on there contract

the pdws (pitcher data work sheet) is just all the key data relating to the pitchers and game lines and numbers. the master has all the same data plus the final results for the year and has pivot tables so you can do easy and fast analysis

all of the above has been mentioned many times in the thread. 1st post of the thread is the key one

i know he told me that he was helping you, i dont know to what extent and what data you need for your calc. so if i post a master with all updates thru the night b4, than i assume you know what to do for today's etc

I am eliminating one of the 5 filters I have been using because I feel I'm leaving money on the table. This should produce a few more games. I will not be changing the YTD record so if anyone wants to begin a new record on their own, today would be a new start.

Old filter was that team had to have won their previous game, which all yesterday's plays had done, so nothing was different. Would have had same plays.

Pops would it be possible to add a sheet to the PDWS that would pick up all the stuff as the master would have it as in correct cells. Then for those that use the master like for 30 day calcs and stuff could simply copy that page and add to their own master and done. Might save you a lot of work in the long run.
