I like your picks...

I thought Stan would have a pretty good change against Davydenko...I didn't realize they had never played before. Davydenko played well won in four.

Hanescu and Verdasco won their matches pretty easily...I was surprised by Hanescu not at all by Verdasco winning.

I think Tipsarevic has an awesome chance at Murray...match is in a first set tie-break.

Cilic can go another few rounds in this tournament imo

Cheers mate. Yeah, I think Stan was worth a shot but didn't turn out well in the end. Tipsy choked, was *5-2 up in the first set, served for it 3 times, but couldn't do it. Then retired after the 2nd set.

N Almagro o F Verdasco @ 6.00 @ Pinnacle (1 unit) L -1
J Tipsarevic o A Murray @ 6.95 @ Pinnacle (1 unit) L -1
V Hanescu o G Simon @ 2.88 @ Pinnacle (1 unit) W +1.88
S Wawrinka o N Davydenko @ 2.31 @ Pinnacle (1 unit) L -1
R Stepanek o M Cilic @ 2.29 @ Pinnacle (1 unit) L -1

1-4 (-2.12)
Tennis Record: 124-189-7 (+36.39)

Mugro loses in three including two TB's. Supposedly played an extremely disappointing match, serving for the 2nd set but choked. Tipsy retires after the 2nd. Hanescu beats Simon with ease. Wawa was a bad play but worth a shot against Davy considering his recent injury problems. Stepanek/Cilic was just a disgraceful match, terrible from both!

BetIt - Yep, the slams have not been good for the dogs this year.

I'm with you on two of those picks. Just couldn't take Haas though. Tough card today. Good luck mate.

Nickels & Dimes - No point chasing losses, especially on a sport you don't follow. Porcupine made the right point, in that it's hard to fully trust Roddick on clay, but he's a rightful fave.

J Melzer o G Monfils @ 3.37 @ Pinnacle (1 unit)

Melzer has the game to upset Monfils. He should have beaten him last year but choked, and in all honestly he'll probably choke again. Worth a shot for me. Or maybe I'm just in the mood for one of those heartbreaking losses.

M Gicquel o A Roddick @ 5.05 @ Pinnacle (1 unit)

Roddick is rightful fave, playing well, seems relaxed in interviews. Forehand has some added potency on the surface and he'll probably spend alot of the match hitting heavy to the shitty Gicquel backhand. Nonetheless, can't have him as this short on clay. Marc is a pretty ordinary player, but seeing him live, he looked to be in good form, hitting big off both sides, and serving well.

M Gonzalez o T Robredo @ 4.50 @ Pinnacle (1 unit)

Robredo has a good record here, and doesn't tend to struggle much in this kind of matchup. Not convinced by his form before the tournament, and he's had a couple of very easy matches. Maximo played some good tennis against Mardy, and despite being lucky against Seppi regarding breakpoints, he got the job done in 3 sets, which is very good. He seems to be hitting heavy, he'll keep fighting, and he's a natural on the surface.

What do you think about tomorrow's matchups? The one that stands out at me is Murray vs Cilic, I think Marin's game is finally coming together and possibly beat Murray. Murray has had a relatively easy road so far...

I think Verdasco definitely beats Davydenko at -200...

What is your opinion on the Sharapova vs. Li match?

I'm really leaning towards Sharapova making a comeback.

Novak is out! Incredible. Biggest upset in the grandslams/tennis this year. Boston - tempted by Cilic too, but not a big fan of him on clay, and I question his mentality.

Make It Rain - Don't follow women's tennis. Though Li seems to be getting alot of support. And you gotta appreciate that analysis from Golden 49ers.

Good luck

J Melzer o G Monfils @ 3.37 @ Pinnacle (1 unit) L -1
M Gicquel o A Roddick @ 5.05 @ Pinnacle (1 unit) L -1
M Gonzalez o T Robredo @ 4.50 @ Pinnacle (1 unit) L -1

0-3 (-3)
Tennis Record: 124-192-7 (+33.39)

Melzer was a pussy as usual. Gicquel played a horrendous match and admitted so in his post-match presser. Although, I'll give it up big to Roddick, because the guy is playing good tennis on clay.

Maximo took the first set, lost the 2nd, and got murdered from then on. He broke his racket, and lost focus. Poor plays overall, was a tough card.

Tempted by Hanescu and Cilic today but will leave it.

Two plays for tomorrow:
JW Tsonga o JM Del Potro @ 2.65 @ Pinnacle (1 unit)
A Roddick o G Monfils @ 2.16 @ Pinnacle (1 unit)

I am with you on Tsonga being able to beat Del Potro...how do you see Roddick beating Monfils tomorrow...I think Monfils is just too much of a clay courter for Roddick

Rhino, hope you weren't chased off by Betfair hijacking your thread.

I have no problem with BF starting threads but hijacking a 16 page + is of no purpose.

BetIt - Not at all mate. Fuck it man. Just had a busy couple of days, also headed back to Paris to watch the QF Gonzo/Muzza.

Got some photos and ramblings up on that link.

Two plays for tomorrow:
JW Tsonga o JM Del Potro @ 2.65 @ Pinnacle (1 unit) L -1
A Roddick o G Monfils @ 2.16 @ Pinnacle (1 unit) L -1

0-2 (-2)
Tennis Record: 124-192-7 (+31.39)

Tsonga was poor for his standards. Never saw the Roddick match, but felt it was worth a shot.

RG is pretty much done for me, have found it hard to understand player's forms, and those who I have believed in, ended up putting in shockers in the next round. Great tournament from a fan perspective though.

Roll on the grass season now.
