ATP Miami:
A Calleri o C Rochus @ 2.25 @ Stan James (1 unit)
Risky play. Calleri has not been in good form for a long time. His last singles match was on the clay in Buenos Aires. He's had a recurring right shoulder problem that forced him to withdraw from Indian Wells. Taken this at Stan James as they void retirements.
Assuming he's ready to play, the conditions and matchup are more suitable to him. He's posted some good results in these slow hardcourt conditions. Generally alot of South American support as well. Christophe has not had good results in his last couple of matches, and tends to struggle against the aggressive shotmakers as they overpower him.
An early one for the day after tomorrow:
G Canas o I Kunitsyn @ 2.62 @ Skybet (1 unit)
Another risky play considering Canas' lack of confidence and great form. Nonetheless, he's been competitive in his last couple of matches, and lost to Querrey twice which isn't too bad. He's been putting in the practice, and will enjoy these conditions. Kunitsyn generally doesn't do well outside of Russia. He also prefers the faster surfaces. He's got a bad record against grinders, as they can expose his movement and draw the errors from his flashy/erratic game. Hopefully Willy can get his first victory in a while.
