I'm sure there is a weekend where there isn't too much going on in Vegas durring the summer. Durring that time I'm sure the hotels will be cheaper, especially if we get a "GROUP" rate. Depending on who's who and when we go, I have a friend who might be able to pull a few strings. He is currently in the "taking the DRUG test" process, of becoming an employee for the Venetian Hotel. Let me know when the dates are set! I'm ready!!

3 things:
1.) making it the weekend before the NFL season begins might take out a lot of people who might normally go - since a great many fantasy football leagues will have to do their draft that weekend (i know mine will and i'm sure i am not alone) - since the league starts on a thursday - screwing us all over that way.
2.) since jenn says she might be there - i can try to impress her with another lame pick up line (since she and angelle never finished that contest we had):
Me: Are you from Tennessee?
Jenny: Why do you ask?
Me: Cuz you're the only "Ten I see!"
get it - ugh!!! (i actually got this from a waitress at hooters - i said i needed one of the lamest pick up lines she has ever heard - and she gave me this one!)
i think this should just about do it for me. i can hear jenny's knees getting weak and i know she will throw herself at me if we ever meet - and best of all - since we are in vegas a "quickie wedding" wouldn't be too hard to pull off (yes, jenny - i will accept that proposal from you - one i know is coming). then again - with lines like this - it might be followed with a true haymaker followed up by a jab to the one area where all men are created equal when hit!
3.) once again - i am going to get on my soapbox here:
there is NO SUCH THING as a FIRST ANNUAL event.
an annual event is help every year. if the event has never been held - it can't be an annual event since it has never taken place.
this would be the:
FIRST-EVER
then, starting in Year 2, THEN you can make it:
2nd Annual
3rd Annual
etc.

BTW I have the blueprints for old Las Vegas and many of the old tunnels are still being used. I went through on a tour bus last year and saw a couple of Beaners buddies hanging around down there, Johny Knockdown and Johny Twotimes. If trouble breaks out see if we can get him down to the tunnels....
