His first order was from Six Flags for 100 units, or $550,000. I'm guessing the kid probably thinks you'll eventually find one of these at every sports venue, amusement park, and shopping mall in the world.

This has to be one of the stupidest ideas for a start up I've seen. He's earned $100k so far, big deal, sell it for $30 million.

I don't see this taking off much. People call the ambulance when something happens, they don't run to a machine looking for change or whatever to put in a machine.

Only way this kid would make hundreds of millions is if he had bottles of morphine to be shot up for pain, then you're talking big bucks.

Maybe I'm naive, but don't most of these place mentioned have an office that you can grab a bandaid, ice pack or burn relief spray from?? I'm just guessing anything worse would be a 911 call.

Its occurred to me that Asian People really really love Whistles.

WhatUp with That?

I'd venture to say that when Whistles first started being sold on a planetwide basis some guy rushed into some room at the Whistle company shouting have a look at Asian Sales Numbers they are off the Chart.

As if Whistles are the same thing as The Runaways.

I seriously suspect Kim Fowley was secretly giving away Whistles when they went to Japan.

I hope he fails if his goal all along was to try and sell his business for $50 to $100 million instead of taking the smaller number($30 million, allegedly).

Boggles my mind how this kid thinks he will sell this idea for $50 million, just font see this taking off.

Who walks into a ballpark or amusement park & looks around for a vending machine for a first aid kit. When an emergency happens, you dial 911, or the park has their own first aid kits & health workers to help.

The vending machine was a nice invention, but some if the ideas to put in & sell are ridiculously stupid, BUT some how some people make hundreds of millions of dollars, unreal!

Bottom.line, you gotta have the right investors backing you with big money.
