Your prediction automatically loses. If there's a tie, the incoming congress breaks the tie with each state getting 1 vote based on the votes of their congressional delegation. Currently 26 states have Democratic majorities, 21 have Republican majorities, and 3 are evenly split. Since it's expected that the Dems are going to add 20+ seats, it'll be mathematically impossible for the Republicans and McCain to win that tiebreaker.

Yeah, but based on the standard prediction or whatever it's called, Obama is expected to win in a landslide with 26 states to Mccain's 21. If Mccain does significantly better like Willie expects, Mccain will win more states which I think is usually the case in a tight race. Didn't Bush win a ton more states than Kerry even though it was close?

This only matters in the event of an electoral college tie (269-269).

It has nothing to do with how many states a particular candidate wins. The tie is broken by congress (the incoming congress?). Each congressional delegation votes with each state getting 1 vote. If there are 26 states whose congressional delegation gives a candidate their vote, that candidate is the president. Currently 26 states have congressional delegations with a democratic majority. Democrats are expected to pick up seats and perhaps increase that majority to 27 or 28 states. if it's an electoral college tie, Obama will be president.

Not sure what changed since the last time but CNN is now showing 365 for Obama plus Missouri still not decided. It's leaning Obama so if that holds then the final number is 376 and MJ will be the winner. If Missouri goes to McCain then it's Tizzy.

Not sure when the fat lady will sing but it should be in time for Xmas.
