IMO it always matters whether or not someone practices what they preach, whatever that might be.

Say an expert gave a talk at a school explaining to kids why it's bad to do drugs, but then takes a break every 15 min. to toke up. Would kinda spoil the message, don't ya think?

In raising kids, if there is any inconsistency between what you say and what you do, the kids will emulate what you do and ignore what you say. In that case, you might as well just say blah blah blah.

OK I see what you're saying and it makes sense, although my understanding is that JoeC is over 40, so then I wonder why he's been spending so much time here instead of getting cracking on issue no. 1.

I suppose it is officially none of my business, but it would sure help put his preachings into perspective IMO. Whenever I read a book or long piece, I always consider the author's bio, but maybe that's just me.

Only a couple hits, but one was from a Chatboard specializing in Cancun tourism. Seems Mark was heading there on vacation in spring 2007 and made a couple different posts inquiring where he might best find "ladies who will serve as escorts and party friends" during his stay.

Now it could be that since those ladies are presumably brown skinned foreigners, then fornicating with them is not morally wrong for a God-Fearing RepublicanAtAllCosts from Texas. After all - What Happens in Cancun stays in Cancun.
