turnovers were the biggest issue in my mind.... D Thomas with 2 kickoff return fumbles against LSU was huge..QB play against Auburn was awful.....Fact is we played Auburn better then any SEC team did that year
None of these guys on the current D'line were on those teams. And Stanford completely dismantled the D'line the past two years. It has been known to be one of Oregon's biggest problems is their small D'line going up against big physical teams. I didn't even know it was that big of a secret.
All that and they won on the last play of the game. :missingte
Darren Thomas was terrible IMO. It's odd, I almost feel as if Oregon has a much less talented team compared to recent years, but now has a legitimate NFL bound super star QB. The playoffs should be excellent this year, as no one team appears head and shoulders above the rest.
Change what tune? All I said was Oregon's d line would struggle against the SEC. That quote shouldn't shock anyone. Even you super homers.
SEC teams would absolutely punish their D Line.
Lol, no one is saying Oregon is bad. You homers need to get checked, it's really weird how crazy you get when someone says one negative thing about Oregon. It has been known for 5+ years that one of Oregon's biggest problems is their small D'linemen, who are incredibly fast, but get abused by much bigger and physical lines. It's the reason they weren't in the National Championship game the past 2 years. And I have no doubt, that Alabama and most of the SEC teams would have a lot of success running and pushing around that D'line. Not that big of a deal. Something most people understand.

i dont understand your sec bias.. you have to at least try and be objective? No one has played defense in the SEC this year. Last week auburn put up 630 yards against the best team in the conference. Last few years sec was dominant, that train has left the station.. Missouri is playing in your conference championship and lost to Indiana.. last week 4 sec teams went out of conference and all 4 lost. Its bama and everyone else in the SEC..
The SEC defenses are trash this year. 3 years ago, maybe. Mariota would rip them apart. This is the worst I have seen the Ducks offense play but they're still on track for 46 points.
