If I was building a team I'd start with pitching.

As long as he doesnt balloon much more, gotta go with Cabrera. Much better hitter than Wright.

The correct answer is A-Rod. As much as everyone hates him, his stats are so far and above anyone it's not even funny.

The correct answer is A-Rod.

Have to agree completely. A pitcher can only do so much in his one start every 5 days ask AARON HARANG 9-2 on the REDS. And a closer has to have games to close to be needed.

ICHIRO and VLAD are right there. I remember the Angels having a bad streak TY when VLAD was out.

First, Ichiro, the guy is a master with the bat and very fast
Second, Chris Young. Great young arm, will be a rock in your rotation for the next 10 years.

This question needs a little context. Are you drafting to win this year? Or in five years? Or as many times as possible in the next ten years? The answer depends on the question.

I am a firm believer in a great leadoff hitter that will give you a high on base percentage along with always working the pitching count. So I'd start with Ichiro or Jose Reyes.

Hard decision. Love Ichiro and having him in CF makes him more valuable and even though he is better now then Grady Sizemore the key is building for the future and in 5 years Grady will be ahead of him and will win a MVP someday. JMHO.
