YOUR WORST BAD BEAT EVER?

I'm pretty sure no one else had these, but they were pretty amazing.

1) Memphis -2.5 at Cincinnati, 2 yrs ago. Thanks to parlays, I ended up with an obscenely large position on Memphis. The Tigers dominate all the way, but Guidugli rallies the Bearcats late. Still, I'm livin' large in Cover City, up by 5 in the final 30 seconds. With no TOs, Cincy faces 4th and 29 from around midfield, and miraculously they get a 31 yd completion. On the LAST play of the game they get a circus-catch TD, costing me the annual salary of my BM.

2) Bucs vs Rams, MNF 3 yrs ago. I had a chunk bet on 3Q under 10.5 (the books have since wised up on this one). They tear up the field for 14 minutes. Finally the Rams start driving, and Faulk gets a long TD on a screen pass with 29 seconds left. No problem, right? After all, the Bucs have NEVER returned a kickoff for a TD. This time, they almost get it but an ankle tackle saves me. As Nick Bakay says, it all looked...SO GOOD. Last play of the quarter, they hand off to Dunn, who spins out of 2 tackles, does a Baryshnikov ballet dance on the sideline, breaks several more tackles, then takes it(and my money) to the house. Shtoink!

2) Jets vs Fins, the 40-37 MNF comeback classic from 2 yrs ago. This time I had Fiedler under 15.5 completions. Of course, the Fish come out throwing every play, and he gets 7 on the 1st drive alone. But, thanks to a big lead, he's stuck on 14 late in the game. The Jets miraculously send the game to OT. Care to guess who wins the coin toss? He gets his 15th completion, then they turn the ball over. Jets line up for the FG...it all looked SO GOOD...SHTOINK! Wide left. Another chance for Miami. Fiedler drops back, then gets his leg twisted like a pretzel (no exaggeration). This guy's career is finished, though I hated to win a bet that way. Wait a minute...2 plays later he's back out there...IT'S A MIRACLE!!! He throws a completion to beat me, then the next play he gets picked, and the Jets get the FG and the win. My Jets +3.5 bet wins, but that's a story for the Lucky Wins thread (which is a much shorter list for me).

Adding Three:

1. Oilers on the ML (or +3) as a dog in Buffalo in the playoffs blowing a 35-3 lead, losing 41-38.

2. SD +3.5 in a MNF game vs. KC 8 years ago. SD led by 4 with l minute to go, and kicked a fg. Bad news for the Chargers. Chiefs get the TD, and another one it OT.

3. AF vs. NWU (pkem). AF is up 10-7 about 5 years ago, first down on the NWU 20, 1 minute to go. NO NWU timeouts left. Take a knee? Not in the Air Force you don't! It's a FUMBLE.........HE WILL GO ALL THE WAY. NWU 14. AF 10.

Churchill downs sometime last summer. I almost hit it huge. Here were my bets for this particular race, me and a friend both had these same bets.

So as you can see I have loads on this race.
Well as they are coming down the backstretch, things are looking beautiful. The 8 horse is about 12 lengths into the lead, and is going to win easy. The next group of horses and there is only 2 are the #2 horse, and then the #5 horse(62-1), the 5 horse is leading but only by a length. The 2 favorites who were both 2-1 and 5-2 are nowhere to be found. As the 2 and 5 are coming down to the wire, the 2 horse finally gets up and draws even, and now I am thinking of course the longshot will fall back, but no it kicks back and stays ahead by a neck on my #2 horse killing my exacta and trifecta. That Tri would have paid in the thousands with a 9-1, 9-1, 61-1, and the exacta would have been huge too. I was so pissed.
