What you see in that pats over? I been trying to figure out some kind of play in that game (even tho agree w pats im allergic to laying that type number! Lol). I'm sure pats score into the 20s, maybe 30s although hou d no pushovers. Still if pats hang 34 even are you confident hou can get the other 10+?

Thanks indy. OverThinker-thanks for asking for my opinion. I am a life long Pats fan. I feel they can flex their offensive muscles tonight with this "#1 D". Last time they meet in Foxboro, our 3rd string QB and "handicapped" offense beat them 27-0. With my main man TB12 in the lineup with a healthy offense, minus Gronk, Bennett fills in nicely, I give Pats 2 more TDs. We can score at least 35 if anything. I don't think Houston can lay another 0 tonight. Granted Houston D has been flexing their #1 D muscles, but to be real, what offense have they faced? Last 5 games including last week against NO Carr Raiders, they faced: a down-year Luck, Bortles (C'on Mon, please), inconsistent read head Dalton, and so-so Mariota? Those 5 QBs including Carr, are not in the same class as Brady. I like the tune-up the Pats did before the playoffs: scored 41 vs Jets and 35 vs Phins and making it look easy as they are all oiled up and ready to go. But non of what I typed mean much if Pat does not flex tonight LOL. But there goes my two cents. BOL if you're going to rock with me on the 5 grammer.

That "#1 d" distinction fine and all but the way I rate defenses far different cause I don't think Houston has the number 1 defense. They very solid tho and they do a good job of making teams drive the field and work for points (when Brock isn't giving points and field position away). Seems to me pats will be plenty content to take these long drives and shorten this game to very limited possessions. Agree hou most likely scores a few this time but I honestly don't think it be more than 10-14 max. Guess I think it comes down to whether Texans let it all hang loose or are content making it respectable? If they actually try to let Brock chuck it enough to give them a chance I could certainly see it steamrolling out of control fast then sky the limit for points! Just not sure I trust obrien to play it that way as he seems like a buttoned down conservative pussy type who rather play it close to the vest and let this play out boring as hell in which I'd expect it to be around 27-31 pats 10-14 Houston which would make under far more likely.
Now ya see my dilemma and why I basically been content to pass on this one, lol.,such a shame on what I think the best weekend for NFL all year we stuck w this ridiculous mismatch surrounded by 3 what should be great games! I've always found these kind of mismatches incredibly hard to cap as I think a lot of how it plays out depends on the dogs willingness to "go for it" rather than play the same boring way that gives them no chance but makes the conservative coach sleep better at night.
