80's has the early lead !

I'm cool with late 60's to early 90's, but that's just me

I'd fully expect someone 20 years my junior to not have any idea who Ray Davies and the Kinks were, but they were not too far behind the Stones, Beatles, Who, etc

that 1964-1976 stuff is what I call classical music, screw Bach, Beethoven, etc.

I think it would be the 70's or 80's for me, when i was still young. I voted 80's.

Though I remember enjoying the Beatles ('57-'70), for one. And now more into the Stones ('62-?) & many others.

I think 1957 is a tad early for the Beatles, probably made it big more like 1964 ?

Stones about !962 seems about right.

Start Me up is like from the 80's.

They are my favorite band, seen them twice live

it's so hard to narrow it down to just a very few then you realize you left out Pink Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Talking Heads, Dire Straights and dozens more.

It's good to talk about something other than Corona

Technically the Beatles existed in 1957 but Pete Best was the drummer not Ringo Starr.

They also did not have a major recording deal in 1957.

They were 100% a club banned in Liverpool .

They signed their first major recording deal in 1962 and kicked out Best and replaced him with Starr.

They were still unknown in the USA until 1963 .

No I’m not old .

All this stuff happened way before I was born .

I have just become a huge Beatles fan the last 10 years or so for some reason .

Ticket to ride might be my ATF

80's by far. Most bands hit there peek in the 80'S. How many people got there tapes from RCA, 11 for a penny. I would use our pets names to get more for a penny.
