well , for me at 56, born 11/63. I really didn't notice music until like age 7 or 1970 or so.
children don't really become human until about age 6 or so., IMO !
When I was a teen in the late 70's, early 80's, I was totally into 60's music, The Doors in particular, I was kind of a Stoner back then....
evacuating Connecticut for San Diego in 1982 changed things for me a lot, I learned to love fun bands like the Talking Heads, that I hated at first listen
I'm glad I made that move, and then Colorado, and Vegas, before coming back to Ct to care for my elderly mother, then getting married, now old and stuck here essentially.
I look at it this way, .....
life is like a football game, divided into 4 quarters
a man may live 80 years or so, maybe 45,55, 68,73,85, 95, or more ?
Call it 80, end of Q3 would be age 60, I'm 56 and think 72 is more like it., or 54
therefore I'm into the first couple of minutes of Q4.
I'm cool with that, I don't fear death, and don't want to live forever
life's been good ( enough) so far.... J Walsh
16 more years in decent enough health and just drop dead in my sleep around 12/ 2038, would work for me...OK, I stretched it a bit....
