I played a few 40 NL games about 3 months ago, which is basically a 1-2 limit game. I was running into the same shit that you find online and in small limit games-CHASERs everywhere. BTW, I was so pissed at the online bullshit that I had to go live to see, if in fact, the bullshit continued-I think so, but that is another story. I've given some thought to the 100 NL, but from what I have seen, its not much different than the 3-6 limit game in general, except a little more loose on the preflop and of course, the looser games. In the end, I like the structured environment of the limit game because its cards and not bluff-well bluff as often (to win). From my one game 9-18 experience, I can say the bluff is there, but still more of a cards play environment. I guess what I am missing is the appropriate bet in the NL game as it relates to the cards, etc-and thats confidence. Whereas, in the limit game, you know the bet, its implication and the effect or expected effect of the raise. So, I just don't have the feel or meaning of the NL game bets down good enough to feel comfortable in the NL environment. This is what I am mulling over, how to crossover, if ever.
