If the Republicans plonk a 300 foot flashing neon crucifix on top of the Whitehouse dome during the next 4 years, then 2008 is a lock. :>Grin>

Nail yer crucifix up there first HB.
You do the wiring up, while I hold my thumb on the relay switch.

This religion in politics angle is fascinating.

We eliminated it over here more than 100 years ago.
If anyone does God in politics over here nowadays, they're either Islamic or a local nutter.

Its like discovering the long lost wogga-wogga tribe who do christianity and speak english.

Have you guys got any druids over there? The Romans killed all ours off.

Look I think its fair to say, according to his teachings, that Christ wants no part of man's governments. So if you adhere to Christian principles and His teachings then government is not where you want to make your living. He talks about this very subject and states that God's rule will be returned to us by .....uh----nope sorry Shrub jr. it aint you---but by Christ. He's pretty clear on that point.

The bottom line is those that follow the true teachings of the New Testament want no part in mankind's political arrangements. To have faith and principle and serve the public is one thing, but to use Christ to justify your narrow, zealous political agenda is disgusting and blasphemous.

Anyone, believers or non, should clearly see the utter hypocrisy practiced by the Bush family and the Republican establishment. It is quite sickening, but predictable because it has been warned of.

I'll say it again, Shrub is as close to being a "Christian" as I am the heir to the British Throne.

10 pacifers and a bottle of Ten High. You lost because you were out of touch with what America wants from its leaders you continue to thrash the winners because your all about your lib values.....no accepting responsibility but lets blame. Try this instead of continuing to drag the Reps through the mud.....except some responsibilty for your lost, figure what you did wrong and try to catch up with mainstream America or try the Moore/Seros game, call names shout lies and see if that works. Face it your game plan sucked.

Jethro, I don't even no where to begin with your hapless nonsense. First, I'm not sure that anyone can really know what Americans want. When half your politcal base can't realize that there were no WMD's for heaven's sake how the fukk are they to be counted on to make an informed and credible decision?

You and your kind are just unreal. Hypocrisy is not limited to the right side of the isle either. Just the righties seem to be most adept at it.
Its all around us, and something you apparently champion.
Let me say this again 49 of 100 of all of us REJECT the lies, the diversion, the manipulation using religion, and the direction this cadre has chosen.

You act like the final score was 28-0. It was won in overtime by a FG. So quit acting like a child. The country is divided. You value the "state" more than the individual. I don't. And I'll never change my mind.
So kiss my azz and puke in someone else's thread.
