Madden coached for a Charger trainer that became an Oakland owner(rather amazing), Al Davis parlayed all that Bolt loot into buying a franchise, of course most Raider coaches must know of their owner's betting activities, because the Raiders have shaved thru all the talent turnover from coaches to players.

Jack - If thats the reason why didnt he say that was the reason? Webmaster is right in that Madden said it was for medical reasons (bleeding Ulcer). Why make up an excuse like that if you arent going to coach simply because you dont want to fly anymore??
Brock Landers - Al Davis didnt fire him. If I'm wrong then his health really was the reason and it's as simple as that. If I'm right then it was the NFL's decision, not Davis', to give him the boot.
