The 2,500 Twitter users selected by the campaign to “fact check Crooked Hillary,” were sent text messages from the campaign along with directions to retweet throughout the night.

“We had a 350 percent lift on tweets that were sent to the #BigLeagueTruth team vs tweets that were not,” a source at the RNC told The Daily Caller News Foundation.
According to Trump’s website, where social-media enthusiasts who support the Republican nominee can sign up for the team, the strategy is aimed at advancing his campaign’s message live during debates and fact-checking what the “rigged MSM (mainstream media)” fails to report.

The most recent Marist Poll from this summer shows that a 53 percent majority of Americans support a strong pro-life policy of limiting abortions only to cases of rape, incest or medical emergencies. An overwhelming 78 percent supermajority support, at a minimum, limiting abortion only to the first three months of pregnancy. 62 percent of Americans oppose forcing taxpayers to foot the bill for abortions.
