the heat are winless on the road in 5 trys. however in GM 2 they showed they are capable of playing with indy before tottaly falling apart in the second half.
what upsets me is stan van gundy had the players participate in a very rigorous practice last night that saw 2 of the key heat players (alston and wade) get banged up. the players were very upset about this and couldnt understand why risking injury before the franchises biggest game.
if it was not for that piece of info, i would definatly give that heat ML a small shot. i still might.

Slim - i like this Heat team, like I said back in April in this thread. However they are in a very difficult spot today. First you have to remember how miserable they have been on road in playoffs (despite miracle garbage time push in game two). They may compete for a while but in the end will get blown out tonight Vs. exteremely hard to beat at home Pacer squad. Call me a square all you want just lay the points (-10.5 -102 Pinn.) on the Pacers tonight.

the more minutes mailk allen gets for miami the worse they are off. he is easily the worst player in their rotation. knowing the heat are banged up as a result of the practice will likely mean he gets signifigant playing time. you notice in GM 4 when he was in the pacers quickly went up 9 when he came out the heat quickly closed the gap
you guys got that right, this team is horrible on the road...however, they'll still be considered horrible if instead of being 0-6 they are 1-5......
Tonights line is very high though. Miami now knows they can play Indi and know they can beat em too... Nerves should not be a factor as they've now played 11 playoff games.....
