first stop when able?

If you mean where do I want to visit which is in my bucket life, that's really a tough one to answer.

I have always wanted to go on a Safari in Africa, or perhaps to see Israel, or even visit some other places in South America besides Colombia, where my wife

was born.

Also anywhere I visit has to be warm when I visit.

However, and I am being 100% truthful, at this point of my life and at my age, I just try to enjoy each day along with staying in good health.

That is easier said than done though, as the arthritis in my lower back is starting to get worse and doesn't get that much better as the day wears on

as it used to, and I wear a hearing aid as my hearing has gone downhill(not that it was ever that great in the first place-it runs in the family).

Yes I can control the arthritis a bit with Tylenol, a little exercise, etc., but physical deterioration to some extent affects most people as they age, and I am no

exception.

I probably went on a bit too long, but as you know, that is my nature.

arthritis is a bitch no doubt, I’m younger but I have it all over due to wear and tear from sports

I am sorry to hear that.

The last few weeks have been kind of tough for me as I had the Flu and have felt very weak and fatigued.

I even got tested for the Virus, to be sure it wasn't that, and thank God it wasn't.

I didn't think it was as I have had no fever throughout.

That's said it has been bad enough, and has made the pain in my back worse and in general all over my body.

According to internet the flu can linger for weeks or even months sometimes for an older person.

In fact it was a very nice day here in Massachusetts so I decided to go for a walk-my body is too weak right now to jog.

Lets just say that after 10 or 15 minutes I started to feel tired and my back pain started to pick up and I got a bit winded.

It got a little better as I continued, but overall I was very depressed and hope that this is all because of the flu only and the stress on my lower back.

However I am a realist and going to make an appointment with a pulmonologist right away or at the very least if it happens again.

It goes without saying that I worry if this is going on at age 76(sorry I am "only" 76 rather than 80 lol-will be 77 in July),how much worse

is it going to get moving forward!!.

On the other hand, there are people my age much worse off who have heart, bp problems and take lots of medications-not true with me.

Anyways, hopefully your arthritis will level off and/or that you can successfully lessen its negative effects.
