Let's talk bad beats with the Yanks.
Earlier this year I had them against Seattle on a saturday. They were tied bottom 9, bases loaded NOBODY OUT for Jeter, Arod and Shef, didn't score, lose in extras
They choked against Boston with Rivera blowing the 10-8 lead a couple weeks ago
Everytime I go against them, they are money and when I take them, they just suck

I had a bad beat like Sick mentioned earlier...could have even been the same game he bet....my game was like 8 to 1 after the first inning...needed one more run to cover 9.5.....final was 8-1...
Had a game a year or two ago, outfielder catches the ball with his ass against the wall....my total lost by the hook.....had that total came in it meant about 3500 more payback in the round robin I set up...Still made money but if the batter would have only put a couple more flakes of Wheaties down that morning, or another shot of steroids.....
QUESTION: Why do some of these threads get widened out so that one has to scroll the page bar left and right to read this.....while other threads are normal size and can be completely read without moving the screen from side to side???

i just had one Kansas City up 4-3 in the top of the 9th, I have KC +1.5. Anahiem scores 3 runs and wins the game 6-4.
yesterday i have Arizona +1.5. it is 3-2 Atlanta in the top of the 9th and they score 3 runs to win 6-2.
There were several others that i won't list.
This has been the worst week i have ever had in my 5 years of gambling. Thinking about taking off from it for a couple weeks.

...speaking of improbable wins....I remember a college football game a few years back, I believe BYU and Hawaii were playing...It was more or less a defensive struggle, I had the over along with a friend of mine...I looked over at him at the start of the fourth quarter, and with a tone of sarcasm stated to him that "we only need 42 points in the fourth quarter to win".....they got 21 apiece and we won our bets......
I cashed on Kordell Stewart's hail mary to beat Michigan....
Got the cash in the UCLA vs ??, when the game went overtime and I had the favorite at like -11, and the favorite scored first and then ran a fumble back for the second score...

Sorry guys but I had the worst bad beat in the past 5 years! A couple years ago I had a dime on the over of a Mets game! Well a 3 run homerun was hit a in the 9th inning or extra innings can't remember, anyhow the ASSHOLE MET TEAM attacked the hitter at second base for hitting the home run and he never touched home plate and was ruled a single while it was over the fence! Game stayed under!! That is a classic bad beat!
