6 trips to the DL for Pavano since signing w/the Yanks. This is going to be a classic deal that will be referred to for years (much like Ed Whitson, Andy Hawkins, Britt Burns, etc..).

I like the fact that the Yanks decided to have him come back on the road. They should let him pitch on the road for the rest of the season, if capable, until he gets comfortable.

Pavano won't be able to work beyond the 5th. He's already working hard and is going to wear himself down.

But he gets out of the inning w/0 runs.

The Yanks have a solid bullpen. If he can give them 4 innings inblemished, I think we'll be ok. I think the Yanks can get to Guthrie through 5.

definitely leaned Yankees just couldn't pull the trigger on the road and w/ them winning last night. Thought Pavano would perform well. He was just as valuable as Beckett when the Fish won it.
