Let me tell you something: you are going to keep gambling. If you've been doing it two years, you're in for life. Very true my days of traveling to the Pond Shop are over because of money management issues. I do a lot better when I just take my time and grind it out. I use to win 10 games and lose like 3 o 4 games but the 4 games I would lose where big bets and there is nothing more depressing than having nothing to show for after going 10-4!
It is true addiction is a disease and the only real chance to stopping is getting outside help from something like Rehabilitation.. In rehab they teach you how to reprogram your brain and also teach you how to live with the disease and how to recognize the "triggers" and emotions that cause you to give into your addiction. It really is fascinating stuff and I am speaking from first hand experience as I was on a 15 yr drinking bender that nearly killed me... The help is there if you need it. Do not be afraid to reach out and seek help. It is very hard thing to do admit you have a problem and need help but it will be the most important thing you ever do while you are on this earth if you are serious! All the best...
