$5000SK Wyverns Over 10.5 -110 (Lost)

With two horrible pitchers here, I am going to look for runs here. The Giants are starting Adrian Sampson, who is 5-8 with an ERA of 5.84. He has allowed 14 runs over his last 25.0 innings, that being his last five starts. He has also been horrible against the Wyverns, going 0-1 against them over three starts, allowing 10 runs over 13.1 innings.The Wyverns are starting Geon-wook Lee in this game, who is 5-6 with an ERA of 5.19. His last five starts have seen him allow 19 runs over his last 22.0 innings. The Giants are scoring 9.7 runs per game over their last five game, while allowing 7.4 runs at the same time. Over the same stretch, the Wyverns are scoring 5.6 runs, allowing 8.6 runs, so the over would be my play.


$2000Kiwoom Heroes Under 10 -115 (Blowout Winner 2-0)

Looking to back two great pitchers here, we will look for a low scoring game. The Doosan Bears will start Won-joon Choi, who is 9-0 with an ERA of 3.64. He has been very good recently, allowing eight runs over his last 28.0 innings. That being over his last five starts. The Kiwoom Heroes will start their best pitcher, Eric Jokisch, who is 10-3 with an ERA of 2.29. His last five starts has seen him allow eight runs over his last 25.0 innings. That also being his last five starts.The Doosan Bears have allowed just nine runs over their last five games, an average of 1.8 runs per game. As a result, I will back the under.

$1000 Samsung Lions +120 (Blowout Winner 7-0)

The Lions will still be looking to salvage their season with some wins down the stretch and in turn will start David Buchanan in this spot. He has easily been one of their better pitchers, going 12-6 with an ERA of 3.74. Over his last six starts in particular, Buchanan is 4-0 with an ERA of 2.81. He has allowed 13 runs over 41.2 innings over this stretch. Odrisamer Despaigne will make the start for the KT Wiz and he is 13-6 with an ERA of 3.96. He has gone 3-1 over his last six starts, posting an ERA of 3.72. He also has struggled against the Lions somewhat, going 2-1 with an ERA of 4.34 against them over three starts. Buchanan has been pitching much more effectively as of late, so I will back him and the Lions to pick up the win here.


$2000 Doosan Bears -135 (Blowout Winner 7-3)

Looking to back Raul Alcantara here again because he has just been that good. Alcantara is 12-2 on the season with an ERA of 2.72. He has not allowed an earned run over his last two starts, pitching 13.0 innings over that stretch. He also performs well against the Dinos, posting an ERA of 2.53. Mike Wright, the NC Dinos pitcher, has also been pretty good, but his ERA of 4.17 is much more concerning. He has allowed six runs over his last 12.0 innings and I would look for Doosan to hit him well here.


$5000 Kiwoom Heroes Over 9.5 -115 (Blowout Winner 13 Runs)

Looking to fade two horrible pitchers here and will be looking for a ton of runs to be scored. The Lotte Giants will start Kyung-eun Noh, who is 4-6 with an ERA of 4.80. His last three starts have especially been rough, allowing 11 runs over his last 15.0 innings. He is 1-2 with an ERA of 7.08 against the Heroes, so he has not been able to stop them either. On the other side, will be Jae-woong Kim, who is 0-3 with an ERA of 3.70. His last three starts have been awful as well, allowing eight runs over his last 10.2 innings. Against the Giants, he has a record of 0-1 with an ERA of 6.23. Both teams are averaging more than 6.0 runs per game over their last five games, so I will back the over.

If you only knew how much I dislike the NC Dinos..... they were a great follow in the early season and up until today a solid fade due to injury and bullpen. Here are my results....

$3000 Lotte Giants -125 (Blowout Winner 8-2) +5700
$2000 Lotte Giants -1.5 +135 (Blowout Winner 8-2)

We will be looking to back one of the best pitchers in the KBO here, as the Lotte Giants will start Dan Straily. He is 10-4 on the season with an ERA of 2.82. This line is probably where it is because his last start saw him allow seven runs to the Samsung Lions over 6.0 innings. Straily has been dominant against the Heroes this season, allowing two runs over 15.0 innings against them. Starting for the Kiwoom Heroes will be Hyun-hee Han. He is much more inconsistent, posting a record of 6-8 with an ERA of 5.59. In one start against the Giants, Han allowed five runs over 6.2 innings. I trust Straily much more in this spot, so I will back Lotte here.


$5000 Doosan Bears -155 (Lost)

$1000 Doosan Bears Over 10.5 -115 (Lost) -11,900We are going back to the Doosan Bears as they have a clear advantage in pitching. The Bears will start Chris Flexen, who is 4-3 with an ERA of 3.76. In two starts against the NC Dinos, Flexen has allowed four runs over 13.0 innings, giving him an ERA of 2.77. His last three starts overall have seen him pitch very well, allowing two runs over his last 11.0 innings. His mound opponent will be Young-gyu Kim for the NC Dinos, who has been a disaster to put it mildly. He is 0-1 but has an ERA of 7.02. His one appearance against the Bears came in relief, but he still allowed seven runs in 1.0 inning to give him an ERA of 63.00.

$1000 LG Twins Over 9.5 -110 (Winner 10 Runs)

The Giants will turn to Jun-won Seo in this spot, who is 7-4 on the season with an ERA of 4.72. His last five starts have been decent at best, having allowed 11 runs over his last 22.2 innings. The Twins finally snapped their four-game losing streak on Wednesday, but are not in danger, sitting 3rd in the KBO. They will look to maintain that spot however, and will do so by starting Tyler Wilson. He is 8-7 on the year, but has an ERA of 4.50. He is coming off his worst start of the season, allowing eight runs over 6.0 innings to the Kiwoom Heroes. His last five starts as a whole have been pretty terrible as well, allowing a total of 22 runs over his last 30.2 innings. On another note, the Twins are allowing an average of 7.0 runs per game over their last five games. At the same time, they are only scoring 3.8 runs, so the offense has not been the greatest. The opposite of this is true for the Giants, who have scored an average of 6.0 runs over their last five games. The over is 5-4 in the nine meetings between these teams this season and I look for both pitchers to lack quality here.


$3000 Samsung Lions +110 (Lost)

Looking to fade Ki-young Im and the KIA Tigers as he is 6-8 on the season with an ERA of 4.81. He has been absolutely terrible over his last five starts, allowing 20 runs over his last 26.2 innings. I will be facing Dae-woo Kim, who is 3-5 with an ERA of 3.71 for the Lions. He has not been amazing recently, but he has been very good against Kia. In three appearances against the Tigers, he has allowed one run in 8.0 innings.


$2000 Kiwoom Heroes Over 8.5 -120 (Lost 7 Runs) -2400

I am looking to fade two lackluster pitchers here as the Hanwha Eagles will start Shi-hwan Jang and the Kiwoom Heroes will start Jake Brigham. Jang is 3-11 this season with an ERA of 4.50. He is 0-5 over his last six starts, posting an ERA of 5.36. Brigham is 6-3 with an ERA of 4.06. His last six starts have been decent, allowing 12 runs over his last 29.1 innings. The over is 4-1 in Kiwoom’s last five games and 3-0 in the Eagles last three games. The over is also 6-5 in the 11 meetings this season, so I will back the over here.

$1000 Samsung Under 10 -115 (Lost)

The Tigers will start Drew Gagnon in this spot, who is 9-5 with an ERA of 4.23. Ben Lively will be his opponent, who is 4-7 with an ERA of 4.37. These numbers are clearly not great, but when digging deeper, the under looks like a decent play. Gagnon is 3-1 in his last four starts, allowing 11 runs over 24.2 runs. Lively has also been solid over the same stretch, allowing seven runs over his last 24.2 innings.


$1000 KT Wiz Under 10.5 -115 (Winner)

I will be looking for a pitchers duel here as Won-joon Choi makes the start for the Doosan Bears and Hyeong-jun So will be on the mound for the KT Wiz. Choi is 9-1 this season with an ERA of 3.61. He has been fantastic over his last five starts, posting an ERA of 1.88, allowing six runs over his last 28.2 innings. So on the other hand, has also looked solid over his own last five starts, posting an ERA of 2.96. He has allowed nine runs over his last 27.1 innings pitched. The under is 4-1 in the last five head to head meetings and 4-1 in both Doosan and KT Wiz’s last five games overall. I will look for both pitchers to excel here and will back a low scoring game.
