I'm still waiting for a rational reason why i should do that. Been waiting weeks for that & so far, nada, nil, zilch.

From the dozens of views on my threads, even those with no replies, the numbers indicate there is interest in individual threads, despite a handful of loud ones repeatedly having an issue, for no stated reason (or none that is even half way convincing).
A mere 15 of 45 threads (33%) on p.1 are presently mine. That's higher than the norm lately by perhaps 50%.
So what's the problem? Can't find the other 30 threads ;

As i told someone before, I don't consider that ideal for organized discussion on one specific topic. I've done that with a Canadian news thread and it's not leading to discussion. Many different topics in one thread can also lead to confusion. Further, if you're interested in one topic, you don't want to be fishing through posts on a completely different matter in the same thread.
What's the difference.... fishing thru posts in the same thread or fishing thru threads in the same forum? I suggest you limit new virus threads to three per day. After that, find a thread to add to. I'm sure there must be one. Bottom line, you just create clutter. Would appreciate your compliance.
The difference is in a thread with many topics being discussed one is more likely to have to fish through many more off topic posts from the subject one is interested in. If everyone is discussing one topic that is less likely.
I more or less complied with that already yesterday.
I'll comply but i doubt it will make any difference to some when they see the first ten threads at the top of p.1 were created by me.
