How about you ask new customers when the open an account if they want on the list. Calling players that aren't currently using your service is classless.
When I open an account for someone, I always ask them if there are any special instructions with your number. Is there a wife or girlfriend that you don't want us to call?
We will agree to disagree on whether someone opens an account and a salesperson calls them with a bonus offer once in awhile. Hardly anyone cares when we do. Most appreciate the call ... especially when they initially open the account. If you don't want calls, just tell us. Simple. Why would we intentionally call someone who doesn't want to be called? We wouldn't.

let me see if I can help anyone understand. I hate telemarketers also. We are not telemarketers. Our sales people call player's that came to our website through various means and opened an account with the intention to gamble. We have to assume this. Otherwise, why waste your time filling out all your info?I hate telemarketers
IMO a service or product that is truly great will speak for itself. Therefore there is no need for telemarketing and phony advertisement.

right. So tell us NO CALLS and we will NEVER EVER CALL you. I get it. It's a personal choice. I have guys that just call me and we talk about upcoming games. I call guys sometime just to talk sports and I don't even ask them for any business. Listen, if we or anyone is calling you too much, let us/them know. The overwhelming majority don't mind a call every so often and if it didn't produce any results then it obviously wouldn't be continued.How about the fact that I have a phone just like you do and if I need something, I'll call you. If you don't hear from me, it means I don't need you.
I can't speak for every book out there or any type of business but yes hardly anyone minds a call once in awhile. Why would they mind? Save yourselves any unnecessary stress in your lives. There are way more important things in life to worry about then a company, that you opened an account with, calling you once in awhile. If its such a horrible inconvenience to you, pleases let us know. No chance in hell we would want to irritate a customer.
