There is only 1 matchup of ranked teams this week. Fargo was the perfect location for the week the signs are great.

I agree it makes no sense to have gameday in N. Dakota. As for the OK/Tenn game tonight, it will get ugly IMO. OK has every reason to run up the score and Vols are completely overmatched in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Vols have an immobile QB and a poor running game. It should be over before halftime. I've already taken OK -20.5.

There is one reason why Stoops won't run it up if OU gets a comfortable lead. They have to go to Tennessee next year. And payback can be hell.

the former Bison coach finally gets to taste defeat today for the first time in a long time, he is something like a 40+ point underdog

Tenn will still be a year or so away from a decent team next year. Other than Baylor, what other games does OK have left to impress the playoff committee. Plus a chance to back up his rhetoric about the SEC.

I've got no problem w/ them going to Fargo....but 2 years in a row? Yes, I have a problem w/ it....plus look at the opponent. It's bullshit. There are DOZENS of smaller schools they could have visted. Plenty of good 1AA teams worthy and no excuse to go to the same school 2 times.

Atlanta this weekend has Ga Tech vs. Ga Southern. GSU is playing it's first year in D1.

Tell you the truth, I'm kinda sick of Stoops talking about the SEC. He needs to face the fact that they are the best conference in football. So what, one of their teams gets knocked off every now and then by a lesser conference team. It's still no reflection of having to play in that conference. I'm glad OU isn't playing in the SEC. As for this game, it would look good for the Sooners to blow them out. But OU is already a top 4 team. If they go undefeated it's not going to matter 10 weeks from now how close this game was, they'll be in the playoff. Now if OU loses a game this season that's another story. I'm still not very confident that OU will win big tonight. I've been hearing that talk all week. OU still has some very young skill players that haven't played a team with this skill level or speed yet. We don't know exactly how they will perform in their first big game.

GS, my bet is not so much a bet on OK as it is a bet against Tenn. They have had a hard time running on their first 2 opponents and OK is a big step up in class. I don't think the UT offensive line can give their QB time to throw the ball. Tenn is even younger and more inexperienced than OU by a huge margin.

JMO and BOL on your action today.

He might not intentionally run it up but they wont stop calling plays. It might happen naturally. I think Tenn folds like a cheap folding chair.

Great idea! I like it when they go to Fargo, and it's warranted...

UGA @ SCar in Columbia would've been better, of course, but Fargo is representing as a fan base well...

They better run it up with the common opponents that Tenn has trying to make the Playoff...
