I took about 24 minutes to cancel almost all of the bets. That doesn't explain why it took over 5 hours to begin cancelling them. How in the f*** can you say it would have looked worse if they had cancelled during the game? It looks a lot better than after. Come on. Surely you're kidding. You can come up with something better than that.

Player knew the limit, he played for it twice before

Player chose to make 80+ plays at various amounts knowing damn well the line should have moved but did'nt

Player did not update his personal info or supplied bogus info

Player knew NO BOOK in the entire world would allow a 40k bet online

WSEX is guilty of having a shitty software glitch as well as being careless and incompetent for not spotting it quicky enough

The player is guilty of knowingly trying to cheat and some of you fvcks think he deserves a key to the city

Wait, in 2002 Jay Cohen explained over at MW that it was OK and explained how to enter bets the why Revere did. WSEX is well aware this can be done and even OKed it. WSEX admits to knowing Revere had 40 dimes and chose not to cancel the wagers prior to the start of the match. If Steve cancels all the wagers then I see his point of view. Waitng till the end of a 2-1 match is not exceptable. This is not even a close call because WSEX left the wagers pending for 5 hours.

Both parties were wrong in this thing. The most important thing to remember is that WSEX is a shit book and anyone that has an account there is asking for a problem.

#1- Revere knew what the limits were yet he continued to pop them with nickel plays. In a spot like that if you want to bet more you usually call up and ask for a play above the limit and most of the time they will give it to you. Did Revere actually believe that they would take 40 dimes and never move the number? Then he has bogus information on file. I don't like books that cancel wagers after they accept them but Revere created this problem pretty much on his own.

#2- WSEX is a dogshit operation. Their software never should have accepted more than a nickel at the same price or a supervisor should have seen what was going on.

#3- Revere and WSEX should take equal blame for this fiasco.
