you all have it right...the ending was more or less fixed by the ACC. Clemson played well enough not to really need help until then.

There's very little value in playing underdogs in these championship games now where a top4 finish is on the line. Stanford was going to win.
Bama was going to win. Clemson too. Maybe even Oklahoma over OkieSt.

Last year was even worse. all the teams that needed to win to make the top 4 won in blowout fashion.....

UNC Head Coach Fedora and his coaching staff had more professionalism than some may have had under same circumstances. One wonders if Fedora was tempted not even to walk out and shake hands with Clemson Head Coach Swinney after that crucial obvious blown call with so much riding in the wings. A very dark ugly smear to what up untill that point had been a fairly well officiated game. Including the fake punt attempts by both teams, numerous other infractions along now with the "Phantom Offsides" penality made for a crazy college football game. The ACC Championship Game of 2015 will forever be tainted by the incompetence of the officials at the end of the game. Sad indeed for all those involved.
