The morning and day after Trump won the GOP nomination, and made his acceptance speech... I watched the first 5 minutes of all the top TV outlets (CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC... et al).

They ALL exept Fox used the work DARK in the first two sentences of their description of Trump's speech. "In what could be described as a dark outlook of the United States", the TV media would say about Trump's speech... I thought I was going crazy but someone sent an email confirming the exact statements made.

SO who controls them all, how is this all happening every day? Tell me.

I doubt that it's any different than when every single politician with a "D" behind their name sends out the same message with basically the same exact wording regarding the issues of the day to their constituents. They clearly have a vehicle to get out their message. It's easy enough for specific higher ups at the networks to coordinate with them.

After a positive and upbeat SOTU, they all called it "dark and divisive"

After every COVID conference, they lied. I had a democratic attorney who I've butted heads with before when discussing politics tell me "he's watching Trump's remarks and then he watches CNN and he can't believe what he's hearing on CNN, none of it is true".

Trump is exposing them, sometimes without even trying, good and smart people see this

It is ALL about the media/press/Hollywood/social media/academia. They control what is covered, and censor what they oppose. Word police. Thought police.
An African adult with a criminal record threw a 5 year old white boy to his death off the Mall of America in... Minneapolis recently, no coverage by the media. Minneapolis.
And the stats on black on black, black on white murders, rapes, assualts are never ever mentioned by the big players (Fox, just occasionally)

Before the 2016 election, I was at the gym pounding away on an AMT machine one afternoon, when then-candidate Dr. Ben Carson made a speech, maybe 40 minutes long. It was solid, it was an excellent approach to solving some of our nation's problems. Incredible clarity...

Later in the afternoon I was curious and saw the big player's shows into the night... what they said about Carson was not merely arguments against any of his positions or policies, they were all gross misrepresentations of what he said, it was skewed, edited, lied about.

They could NOT let him succeed.

She still watches "The View" despite both me and my daughter telling her to turn that shit off. Her emotions run many of her decisions. And it's a waste of time to try to have a rational conversation on many of these topics. She tends to get painted into a corner and then just gets quiet and doesn't respond. Eventually you realize it's a waste of time, plus I like having a home cooked meal.

I never ever try to have a rational conversation. She's right and I'm wrong and that's that.

Like I've said many times, once you master the art or ignoring your life changes for the better.

I think it is a whole lot deeper, a whole lot more controlled than that...

Whatever the method of communication is, it's clear that they are all on the same page as evidenced by their measured response to everything, and the exact same words used (and we see it over and over). It is hard to understand how people that in general are highly intelligent let themselves so easily be swayed by a bunch of opinionated talking heads. Admittedly, I'm not saying it's only one side, but the majority are definitely left of center. And not once do these "intelligent" people ever ask a critical question or two to debunk some of this bullshit.

Ironically, most of the people losing their cookies right now are actually not the Useful Idiots (they're actually relatively quiet). I'm guessing they're laughing at all the right leaning people losing their minds on this forum and finding confirmation bias so they can continue to rant. Some people need to shut off the TV for a day or two (you'd think some of these people have never seen race riots before...the media is playing them like a violin).

I can't say I'm aware of any of the ratings or sales as I really don't pay much attention to that stuff. I do know I've encountered similar situations to you and the client that was talking about Florida. And it's clear the only place they got that stuff from was the media. I also noticed there are a handful of posters on this board that have taken the opportunity to make racial slurs ( in addition to finding anything they can on race relations) thinking it's a great time because they have cover. It's actually pretty pathetic.

I think its good to post facts to counter the leftist rants at times but yes I agree they are not always worth the time and energy. The growing problem is that all these problems turn political with their trump hatred. As if he kneed that person to death or caused a virus.
