we have horse racing kiosks in bars now in VA ( traditionally socially conservative state ) and it irks me...

I think the lotto is takes advantage of those in poverty... but it is what it is...
I feel like sports betting becoming legal could be a good thing, but I think it would be disaster to too many people if that widely available. I personally feel like it should only be allowed at casino's.. not online...

I'm pretty sure that is the future of the sport. The standalone otb is deader then dead here in pa.

IMO online is the most sensible way to go. I have no desire to go to a casino. I see no reason why one shouldn't be able to place a wager from a phone, tablet, pc - whatever. Why not take advantage of technology? I realize that some people can't control themselves, but that's true with many aspects of life. If it is ever legalized here in the states - go all in.

the odds on those things are shit. For the average Joe Blow who's drinking at the pub and watching a game, he doesn't notice and would gladly pay 20% or higher VIG on a game as long as he could make it right there and there. Pretty good chance he doesn't know how much of a bad deal he is getting, chances are he doesn't even know what a vig is and chances are he doesn't even care.

Also, very limits betting options. Totals and spreads only with a "toto" type of parlay/lottery bet where you pick 13 games and winners share in the prize pot with 11 correct being the lowest to win anything.

Its a cash cow for the government who relies on uneducated sports bettors. Not saying they aren't smart, just that they don't know any different as far as sports betting goes

In the U.S........ This is probably the kind of horse-shit they will finally come up with. These sort of odds would not appeal to or effect any intelligent person. Only people on this forum that would bet that kind of shit would be Russie, The Source, and maybe a few others.

When you have sources and other info like these guys have.... well, it's a sure thing any time they bet.... right?

How could Russie afford to bet so HUGE otherwise?

Paper routes just don't pay like they used to, Boys!
