But I see your point BAS.

That's just too much for a lil piece of cardboard paper lol...

I use to collect years ago, and even when i was Full Tilt with this stuff, I would Never pay that kind of money for Any card... Well if i could have gotten a Joe Jackson for $10K, i would. LOL

SPX I thought those cards were the coolest thing when they first came out but they didn't fit very well in the standard cases.

I would think an Aaron Judge investment is ok but not sure how much hotter he can get. I haven't been in the card market for 20 years but in college I used to make good beer/food money buying/selling. That all said no way I'm paying anywhere near that scratch for a 2013 card.

buying singles is the more money efficient way to collect
busting boxes is a huge gamble and is not really good imo. box breaks are only really for amusement.

I bought a box of topps Football Finest in (2007) ? I was just dabbling on ebay, buying a few single cards of players I thought might evolve into some value - but while I was in a store browsing, I just decided to buy a box for the hell of it. Autographed Rookie Adrian Peterson refractor, numbered 1 of 25. Card was ugly as shit. But at one point I was getting offers of $1500 for it. I ended up auctioning it off a few years ago and it went for $400. Pissed me off.
