Casinoman, seems you have piqued the ire of some, challenging your handicapping abilities. Five grand a month? From what I've seen you're a .500 capper like me. Heres what you do. Post your NCAA Sunday picks tonight and let the members judge.

Shemp you are right about him being 50%. That is pretty standard for a scammer. Also notice whenever he wins, he will post a bunch of messages to draw attention to it.
When his plays lose, like Wake Forest losing outright as a 9 point favorite, not a peep will be heard from him. He is probably busy on some other board where he gave out West Virginia as his insider play and he is flooding that board with messages about how great he is. Classic scammer behavior. When he returns here, he'll bring up some claim about winning for 15 years or something else that no one could prove or disprove. Maybe he'll read this and repost his "I never said I win every game'excuse

This forum has a lot of good handicappers, you can get some good reads on games. The scammers come and go too, hopefully people can see how pathetic they are instead of encouraging them

good luck

Thanks for the positive support Lakersfan. I've done this long enough as has anyone to know that it is as difficult and skillful way of making a buck as there is. Anyone who has easy answers, locks, guarantees or super winning records simply cannot pass the truth-in-wagering test. Unfortunately we all have learned the hard way once upon a time and I admire the posters here for trying to give good direction and save the newbies some of the money we have all lost going for the sure thing or getting sold a service's false promises hoping for easy money. Thank you all for your insights and selections. By the way did Casinoman post Sunday's plays?

yes he posted 5 teams, but being a scammer he didn't put lines . If you go by the lines available at the time, he went 3-2. But he came back after the games were over claiming he was 5-0. There are a bunch of posts in the rubber room if you want to see the gory details, it is insane.

how would you class handicappers such a Teddy Covers, Rob Veno, Fairway Jay and Tim Trushel?
i listen to the radio show and they all trying to sell their picks, but would you put them in the same category as the ones you rang?
They all seem okay and dont make outlandish claims
one thing they do do, is if the guarenteed winner doesnt win, then the next report will be free
any views?

Two things: If the 'GUARANTEED' winner doesn't win, the guy is a loser, why would you want more of his plays?

Secondly, that is just a way to hook you to follow, because no one will lose every play. If they lose guarentee game #1, they give you game #2. If that loses you get #3. If that wins, then you get the 'see, we told you it was a guarenteed winner!!" It never ends with those guys. Well not until you run out of money it doesn't.

Also think about this: I have 2 people call me. I guarantee the winner to both. I give team A to the first guy and team B to the second guy. The guaraentee is that I can call one of them the next day to say "SEE I TOLD YOU IT WAS A WINNER!!"
