Finally, get a partial win. This is not looking very good right now, Sweden will have to beat England to win the group, Ecuador is at best a push, and that Poland money is basically gone. In a decent hole right now, but hope to rebound

Woo!!! Thank you Argentina. Easiest play of the World Cup, every year someone gets shellacked. Didn't expect it to be this game, but a winner nonetheless

Like both picks today. Looking for a S.Korea upset! Have a friend who put 500 on the Korea ML so I'm hoping it hits!

Thanks winbet,

Split today and got a little lucky in the S. Korea game and a little unlucky in the Croatia game. C'est la vie. Back at it tomorrow.

Ukraine to win -240

Saudi Arabia is the worst team in the tourney in my opinion talentwise. Ukraine could really hurt them after the embarassing performance against the Spaniards.

GL on your Ukraine play pal, but I don't think that juice is worth a shot for a ukraine win. I think this match could very well end with a draw. Although the Saudis lost a key player in Mohammed, the fact that his mother passed away over the weekend might just give them an extra boost to play hard for him. We all know the emotions that were involved for Mexico's goalie in their match against Iran. Check out this article from Fifa's site

http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/060618/1/7sjb.html

I'll be on the Saudis +1.5.

Nice to get an easy win and see the Ukranians play like the team they showed they were in qualifying.

Adding..........

Paraguay/Trinidad and Tobago UNDER 2.5 goals -120
Correct score prediction: Trinidad and Tobago 1 Paraguay 0 +1050
(Much smaller play)

Another nice win, getting closer to this being a profitable World Cup venture. Go ing to be at a cousin's wedding in Pittsburgh starting Friday however, so might as well post this now.

Adding..........

Ukraine ML -145 vs. Tunisia

Ukraine showed once again that they are a strong team by trouncing the Saudis. No time to rest on their laurels though as they need a result to advance. I can't see their fiery coach playing for a draw here and if he plays the 3-5-2 again, there should be plenty of chances for the Ukraine.

Back from PA and I'm gonna pull the trigger on this......

Ghana to get the first card vs. Brazil -179

Decent amount of chalk, but Brazil had 5 cards thru the 1st round while Ghana had 12 or 13 I believe. Ghana should also pick up a yellow first thru trying to intimidate or stop a Brazilian attack

Took a hit in the France-Brazil game with two futures, so I probably won't have a winning World Cup. However, this little morsel right here looks too tantalizing too pass up:

France-Portugal OVER 1.5 goals -126

Loser with France-Portugal, even if this bet wins will have a losing World Cup bu c'est la vie. It was fun.

France-Italy OVER 1.5 goals -107 (Bigger play)

Yes, there has been low scoring after the group stage but there always seems to be a good amount of goals in the final. Of the 16 previous World Cup finals (1950 did not have a World Cup final, but instead a final grouping of the top 4 teams), 14 finals have had at least two goals. These two teams do play good defense but I don't think either team wants to decide this in PK's (Italy for their history and France because Buffon>>>>>>Barthez) so they will press for a goals and when one is scored the other team will frantically try to gain it back resulting in wide-open soccer.

I like the POR-GER over better, but this over is not bad either: got it at + and is one of hooks parlayed to today's over(thugh i've semi-protected tomorrow's over with additional hooks to Tie & FRA +½.

Thank you, all the best to you.

I barely got in the black for the WC...esp. because I reverse-hedged at halftime all the legs...although in a way to try and middle the hedges.

This was only my 4th parlay bonanza for this WC-- the first 3 I left unprotected because of other time constraints: in two i came within one goal of a huge payoff(actually had both disallowed goals AND blown penalty kicks), the other one was not that close.
Now, i had too much time, & woulda been better off w/ no hedging...what saved the final ROI was that I tripled the bet amounts for the finales.

Looking forward to the next WC already...

Good luck to you always.
