------------PORTUGAL WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!! They dropped 7 on North Korea. I don't care who you are playing that is pretty impressive.
I wonder when Kim Jong Il pulled the plug on the televisions in North Korea during the game LOL after they got beat down. Portugal looked like a real team which is why I took them.

------------Spain needs to win today and Friday most likely and it may come down to Goal differential also so they need to put it on Honduras today some.
Come on Spain. Let's Go.

Spain gets it done with the 2-0 victory, I'll take it

Portugal was amazing today

Argentina should get it done tomorrow, all they need is a tie so they can rest some players and play conservative, maybe Militio will get some action, another great player


However, the best feeling was kicking Kim Jong Il in the ass LOL and embarassing him in front of the whole world with Portugal, no matter what happens with the futures I get that satisfaction and memory from this World Cup, I even read it was broadcast live in North Korea (which is rare) so there was no editing, However, North Korean TV didn't do any postgame anaylsis and immediately went to factory workers praising Kim Jong Il after the game was immediately over LOL, that is too funny

ARGENTINA advances to the Round of 16 and will play Mexico in an elmiination game, this is kind of ironic for me since I mention a chunk of Mexican friends in post #9, I've already had pre-game trashtalk with several of them today LOL, One even told me that Mexico is going to destroy me and my gringo friend Messi LOL, I guess Messi is a gringo too according to some Mexicans even though he is from Argentina because of his lighter skin LOL , Its all in good fun though, they all know I have Argentina in my futures along with Spain and Portugal, we wished each other good luck as I was leaving, it should be an interesting game Sunday, Hopefully, Argentina will get it done and go to the Elite 8, yeah I use College Basketball Terms for now, Argentina is now in the Sweet 16 LOL

Spain looking great right now, looks like they will play my other futures in Portugal in the Sweet 16 at this point so at least I"m guaranteed one of them to make it to the Elite 8, Argentina gets Mexico on Sunday, Glad to see Spain looking like Spain

Spain plays Portugal in the Round of 16, it is what it is, No matter who wins I advance to the Elite 8 here since I have both teams, both teams are paying at around the same since I put more money on Spain to offset most of it back in May, I like Defender Gerard Pique for Spain (he does the dirty work, he is like Ron Artest or Dennis Rodman LOL)

Looking at the Brackets it is possible for Spain/Portugal to meet my other futures (Argentina) in the Final Four, we'll see what happens

Next: Time to root for Argentina against El Tri

ARGENTINA gets it done and advances to the Elite 8, they get Germany next, I was very close to playing Germany in my futures, but decided not too, Argentina will have to bring their A game here, should be a great one

Spain and Portugal play each other on Tuesday so one of them will advance obviously, thus I will have 2 teams out of 8 in my futures which works for me since I only played 3 teams

I didn't rub it in too much on the Mexicans today since I thought Argentina should win today, most of them were all dressed up today here in Atlanta, I showed more sympathy to some of the hot senoritas I know LOL, they looked pretty hot in their tight green soccer jerseys LOL (although some jerseys were black), I just told them lo siento LOL since they all knew I have Portugal, Argentina, and Spain to go all the way although a hedge could be possible if one of them makes it to the title game and is playing someone not expected to be there, I haven't decided on that yet, still a ways to go though , best of luck to all

Spain gets it done and advances to the Elite 8-------I wanted Spain to win even though they were playing Portugal (my other futures), more balance, more weapons, they get Paraguay next, maybe someday Torres will come out of his shell LOL, David Villa has been great though, Xavi is just solid as they come

Argentina gets heavyweight Germany next

The other side of the bracket has Brazil playing the Dutch, I would love to see Brazil get knocked out and the Dutch will provide them with their tougest test so far

Time to root for Spain to win their next 2 games then I can do a hedge since Brazil is out and Spain was a slightly higher payout since more money is on them at lower odds, I need Spain to take down Paraguay and then I can try to get revenge on Germany LOL

Very simple scenario now, with only two options

1)Spain beats Germany and I still make great money since I could hedge them in the title game

2) Spain loses and I lose all of my futures

Like I said, very simple now

Hopefully, I can get revenge on Germany with Spain

SPAIN WINS AGAINST GERMANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This means I cash my futures on Spain and make some pretty good money no matter what happens in the title game due to the hedge factor. Nice to make some good money on the World Cup. Had lots of fun with the futures on Spain, Argentina, and Portugal. Nice to end it all with some profit.
