World Cup Cooling Break?

Don't they do this in every fucking sport anyway? Who cares? A soccer game still goes by faster than any other sport. I'd rather have 5 cooling breaks than the commercial fest of NFL games.


Good post. Tonight we had another RedSox/Yankee clash coming in just under 4 hrs! At some point it gets inhumane not to let players get a sip of water playing in those conditions. So what they tack on another 30-60 seconds... who cares?

And the NFL is beyond a commercial fest now, ever notice when the AFC game comes to commercial break you switch over to NFC game and they are also at commercial. Happens more often than not.

Yup. Works like a charm. Hell, Ive even had Dominoes a couple of times watching football games and that's a no-no if you live in Mass.

Or when watching NFL redzone, somehow all 10 early games are on commercial, so the host has to BS for 30-60 sec.


I like that soccer has no TV timeouts.
