I worked for an investigations company long ago. My job was to sell the investigation services to claim reps who thought a case had too many red flags. As part of my training to learn my companies services, I was put out n the field to ride along with some of the investigators. Just a few ride alongs, but very memorable. On one, we tailed a worker comp claimant to a job she was working under the table. Dental assistant. The PI got film of her by using a fanny pack with a camera , putting it facing his back, and then he put his back to a glass window where just inside, she was working. The PI and I had a fake conversation so he had a reason to stand in front of the window for so long.

Another case we hung out in a van trying to ID the owner of a PO box. The way we did it was to deliver a florescent orange package to the PO box and then just wait outside in the van for someone to come outside carrying it. That was a 6 hour wait, but we ID'd the guy and then followed him home.

No doubt , I've heard stories about that kinda shit... I'm gonna be takin it easy with the social media as well. God forbid Facebook updates my location or I post pictures from an Eagles game or somethin!
Be careful on trash day, that's one of thier tricks. Put it out the night before when it's dark.

If you see a strange vehicle, just call the non-emergency Police # and inquire. Most places require them to register. The Police have to let you know it's a Private Investigator. If they don't, then a Cruiser will come down to talk to them (especially when you tell the PD that there are kids in your neighborhood)

I bet you've had the pd called on you plenty of times by parents of small kids.

They're not allowed on your property, so if they happen to get frustrated and knock on your door, make sure that you call your lawyer immediately.

Hey guys thanks for all the input from a couple months ago.. I finally returned to work today and have to admit it felt great getting back out there! There takin it easy on me for now and lettin me flag traffic for the time being until I feel I'm ready to start hangin guardrail again.. You'd think being off for 10 months would be awesome , but after awhile it started gettin old for me.. I'm all about working and contributing to society instead of leeching off it! Insurance companies on the other hand, they can eat a dick! I'm all lawyered up and now that I'm back to work I can start the process of getting paid for my injury.. I learned a lot about workmans comp over these last 10 months, just add another notch to my belt of shit that I now know!

I am very comfortable and experienced in WC matters. If you have a specific concern or question, consult with your attorney. If you want

an explanation on what he/she states, and for the hell of it, I'll take a short! I love this stuff! Hope u r doing well!:103631605<strike></strike>
