my dad was there not quite 40 ago, 39, he was a heavy machine gunner ,carried a M-60, he patrolled some riverbanks he has said, some on ground and some in choppers. I remember seeing some little medal and certificate he got saying something about successfully partaking in over 25 air cover missions or something like that.WTF - 40 years ago I was flying as crew in chopper missions south of the DMZ in Nam..hno:
