I was reading that you can make a million dollars by playing in a Russian professional basketball league while the WNBA only pays you 250k.
Their MAXIMUM is $228K, and their AVERAGE is much, much less!
That's tip money for the NBA guys.

That is why the TOP women play overseas, in several different countries.
They can triple or quadruple their WNBA earnings over there.

I had no clue pay was that low until i read the article.

However i dont think they should get a raise in pay. Those lower salaries (and the NBA funding the zillions into it) is what is keeping the league open.

If the WNBA disbanded, i'm not sure how many people would ACTUALLY be upset? Hell, more people may be happier they dont have to see WNBA commercials or feel like a loser for betting on WNBA games

But it is the law there and she didn't think it applied to her. Let her rot in jail.

Those caught in possession of hash or hash oil (BHO/wax), possession of any amount, up to seven grams, is a misdemeanor punishable by a year in prison and a fine of up to $1,000. More than seven grams but less than an ounce can result in felony charges carrying up to seven years

Wonder what she thinks of price of gas... LOL

Nobody cares or watches except for the lesbians who go to the arenas to hook up.

It's true, although the 250k may be high. I know that's why several former Huskies played there

Diana Taurasi even took a WNBA season off because her Russian team asked her to.

As for Brittany, she has to be smarter. She / we don't write the law in other countries. Hopefully she's treated no better and no worse than other people who did what she did. Hopefully Russia doesn’t use her as a pawn because of current events

All of which begs the question; with most people boycotting Russia and her obvious concern for mankind, why is she going to Russia again?
