This is a lesson to the newbies that you never risk more than a small % of your winnings on a given day.

I think this is incorrect. You should never risk more than a small percentageof your bankroll, but your winnings should not have anything to do with how much you are risking. Otherwise, what would you do if you break even after the first days - stop betting?
Bankroll management is very important, but if (that's a big if!) you are really confident in your picks there's no reason not to risk all of your winnings and more as long as you stay within the bankroll management guidelines.

I agree with this very much Mr. Preussen. I was simply hit by "THE LAW OF GRAVITY". If any one who kind of knows how i wager thus far. It is not uncommon for me to lay out a 10 unit wager. I went 4-1 on 10 unit wagers. I got nailed nasty on 3 friday night tickets and this last one just set me back at even. If your gonna play, go with your heart. Ihave no doubt that i will end up positive at the end of the season.

There was a game that I lost 20 units on a few weeks back. I swear i would play that game again at 20 units over and over. I MADE THE RIGHT CALL, just didnot turn out right....that sounds crazy ....but its true.
