Winning poker players- Do you win because....

B) Most of the players don't know what they are doing

I know this kind of the same answer but it isn't:monsters-

I am trying to beat the game because I have been told and I believe that B) Most of the players don't know what they are really doing (and either do I yet, LOL).

Been playing like a madman but still have a long way to go.

I am a continuous winner because I play at level where
I am a better player than 80-90% of the other players at
the level I play.

I think players are too quick to move up in the size of blinds
that they play. I am out there to make money, so I'm not
ashamed to play low limit, and rake it in.

I can play 4 tables of low limit at a time, and watch TV, and still
make a good hourly rate.

Why not put this in the poker forum for one.

Also go down to Greektown and play 1-2 nl 100 buy in max. They are pretty week down there. I just won $180. It would have been much much more if not for a runner runner full house. I had a straight. pot was about $360. All you can do is get the money in when your ahead and in the long run you will win. Let me know if you want to play at Greektown. I'll go down there and play ya.

This is the simple secret of poker that is the most important factor. Play against players who are worse than you. You can handle up to two others at or above your level at a 10 handed table, often good to have them since they provide some stability. Four or five donors makes for an excellent game.

One caveat, at the very lowest levels where everyone plays to the river the game you are playing is not poker but poker bingo, which can happen in some of the limit games I play.

What kind of poker are you playing Ice, limit or no limit? The games are quite different and I would suggest, at least, starting with limit to develop experience.

I am a very tight player online because you need to play very tight and wait for the best hand... But this doesn't always work at the lower blind levels... Because other people play with such garbage... Bigger buy ins and higher blinds are better for tight and patient players because the level of competition is above playing donks at 4 positions on the table...

If you play lower levels I feel you have to be able to play aggressive... But in all honesty... what makes a great player is being able to fold a hand that was best going into the river and probably got beat on the river... that is the toughest feat for online poker players and players in general... that get pissed after the river and think the guy chased like an idiot and say fuck it out of anger

As I see it, the only way to make any money doing this is ...

1. Play higher limits. No chance (or less of a chance) of jerkoffs who keep calling you of hitting that miracle 2-5 outs.

2. In large multi table tournaments ... play VERY TIGHT.
3. Hope and pray.
