Ericsson looks impressive.

He does, but he's also a liability on the defensive end. He's a converted forward still learning the position. He's very big and extremely smooth for such a big kid but I've seen him make more than his share of mistakes in his own end. He made another one tonight that cost them a goal. And it's definetly an issue with Babcock as I've seen him sit for long periods of time after a few of them.

Still not bad though for the last player selected in the draft.

Yes I saw the one mix up at the blue line for one turnover but he has a cannon for a shot and putting him on the line sure makes sense. Lidstrom wont be around forever.

The analysis is simple. Over an 82 game regular season its coin flip action trying to predict NHL winners consistently. Which team will show up when? Which goalie will show up when? Figured this out a while ago and stopped betting it and have had lots of extra cash in my pocket since.

What a pile of trash.
