I understand the thought process but I think too many guys try to be "sharp" by constantly taking crazy under dogs. For example, in tennis, I will do live in play betting laying chalk everytime to hold serve especially early in a set. Say you get a Djokovich/ Nadal final at Wimbleton. There will be 1 break a set and usually they will come late so betting heavy early in a set pays. I think people get unfairly ripped by taking favorites. Don't get me wrong, i wouldn't lay -280 or something in a baseball game though. I think some bets, the win % is so high, you pull the trigger.
