Rxer's: obviously many feel, that any changes (if they happen) won't have much affect. As a retired teacher at the secondary & collegiate level, my life will continue status quo. In my time, changes in the building principal or collegiate president never filtered down, to my level, with much impact.

I love watching the people, who cut Trump's throat and are now jumping on his bandwagon.

What I enjoy in sports, is watching a new coach take over a perennial loser and turning it into a winner. Trump has his work cut out for himself (many more tangled webs), as does any new person, in an executive level position, in most lines of business.

Just a honest question. What will Trump be able to get done. Both the democrats and republicans mostly resent him. Will any vote for his proposals?

Tax reform first and foremost - the southern border will get a huge boost in security - infrastructure in the US will be improved (both parties want it) - spending will go down - Trump hates paying any bill so I would imagine the out of control spiraling deficit will stop

The police and military just got a huge boost. We now have an administration who sides with them, not against them.

Obamacare also was tied to a substantial medicaid fund for masshealth. Obamacare also expanded coverage for eligibility for medicaid. Repealing obamacare could potentially impact those dependent on medicaid and all services reimbursed by medicaid. For those that don't work in healthcare, medicaid pays for things like long term home care, personal care, nursing homes, and doctors visits. The geriatric population is only getting bigger with more people unprepared for prolonged retirement with cost of living rising faster and higher than people who are low-middle class could ever save for. Emergency departments and hospitals will eat costs at an unprecedented rate with the removal of such coverage due to frequent readmissions (which are already high to begin with) and prolonged hospital stays if such social support is lost.
see what you mean- president trump will just let them die in the streets

I love how nothing has changed yet and these people are acting like Presiden Trump is destroying their lives. They're as bad as the people who thought Obama would fix every problem.

Obamacare repeal is huge for the country both financially for families and for preservation of freedom. If he cuts my expense to the federal govt that is pretty much a slam dunk win no matter what else happens.
