Could you give me the formula for equating moneylines with expected percentage hits? For example if a team is a -459 favorite what percentage of the time will that team cover. Assume that the dog would also be +459.

Personally, I have never had any use to know that............as a bookmaker or a player.

I honestly do not know.

A -459 favorite needs to win 459/559 times to BE, or 82.11%, and the flipside of course is 100/559, or 17.89%.
