Hell, the Texans would take him in an instant over what they have now.

Has unbelievable talent. Depends on his head issues.

I don't hate him seldom.

Just think he'll be a bust.

The ONLY reason Winston & Mariota are even being considered to go #1 is because they are basically the ONLY QB's worth considering.

In other recent drafts, they would go later behind much better QB prospects...

I've been wrong plenty of times before. IMO there is too much on field talent to see this kid bust. Guys like Marriota and RGIII are half the prospect that he is. His game actually translates to the nfl. He anticipates windows and understands defenses. Those are the most important traits you look for. Time will tell. One of us will be right. I've stuck my neck out quite a bit discussing him on here as a prospect.

On a side note people bashing him for character are clueless because they don't really know. They make assumptions based off what is reported and they run with it to a point of absurdity. We can only truly evaluate what we see in the game.

Not sure what your point is Green.

Johnson had a solid career.

Odds are against most first round QB's having a good NFL career.

My point is, I don't see Winston being even as good as Brad Johnson, who wasn't a superstar, or even a star. He was just good.

And in my opinion you don't spend a high pick on him... (Or Mariota)

I just think he will be a good NFL QB Hache....

Brad Johnson was a decent QB.....More then anything he was a jorneyman QB.....I looked at Johnson more like a backup QB to be honest with you....Nothing spectacular.

Time will tell on how good Winston will be.

Good luck!

His best chance at success will be in his 1st year when they give him 1/10th of the playbook. Then season 2 teams adjust and he is not smart enough to learn more. He will be so confused. Not to mention, he played against a bunch of weak competition with a better roster at Florida St. relative to ACC than he will at Tampa relative to the NFL. Not to mention keeping him in Florida somewhat close to Tallahassee with millions has disaster written all over it.

You`re speculating....Nobody knows how he will perform....Time will tell....It will be here before you know it.

It`s not speculating when it`s said that he was a excellent college QB.....That is a fact.

How he performs at the NFL level is yet to be determined.
