Should get fired not fined!! One of worst coaching performances ever!!! If you plan on going for a "suprise" onside kick........DO NOT TELL THE MEDIA OF YOUR PLANS!!! Given how the Pitts offence was playing, what's the point?!?!? They weren't moving the ball anyways. Big deal if they recovered they would have had the ball on their own forty. Then when he's down a shit load of points late in the game he goes even more conservative!?!? And geez I don't think Mora would call a QB draw on fourth and five if Vick had just come back from a knee injury!!!!

Down 15-20 with under 5 minutes left, you have a 1/100 chance to win.

If you pass 10 times in the last 5 minutes, you have a 1/25 chance of injuring your starting QB. You're still on track to make the playoffs as is.

you do the math.

Daringly,
Apparently you didn't watch the game. Down 23-7 in the 4th, 3rd and 15 Cowher calls a pass but good coverage and protection breaks down, so Big Ben is forced to scramble and he does well for someone just recovering from a knee injury, and gains 13 leaving 4th and 2. So what does Cowher do? He calls a QB draw(talk about risking injury to your franchise QB) and gains 1 yd. No question about it...Cowher quit, right about after the failed onside kick. You're right, they still make the playoffs, but this episode of quitting will come back to haunt them.

I have to disagree. They do NOT make the playoffs if they lose to the Bungles next week. They will be 7-5 if they lose that game and should have 2 (and maybe 3) teams ahead of them and be two games out in the division.

Also, like Doug said, if injury is your concern, running a QB draw isn't that smart either, is it?

I am not saying Cowher tanked the game, but he definitely went in with a loser's mindset. Look at the play calling when they were down 10-7 ... he tried to play for the FG.

cowher will never open up that enemic offense.....I predict Cincy BLOWS them out also im on the bungles ML when it comes out...also why didnt that fuck tard cowher go for 3 to make it 23- 10 what a dolt...

I agree about the anemic offense Dante. If it wasn't for the interception the Steelers wouldn't have scored at all. It was clear that Ben wasn't ready to come back. He did get a few passes out but those were early and few.

Cincy's offense is a lot like Indy's. I say they score just as much if not more than Indy did. I don't see how Pitt is going to score that many points even if Cincy's defense were weak.
